What is special?

The exposition opens a collection of gold of VI-III century BC, found in Scythian burial mounds. These are gold women's jewelry, bowls and a masterpiece of world art - Scythian pectoral (king’s breast decoration) depicting scenes of life of nomads.

Description
Also it presents works of art of Kievan Rus - items decorated with stamped designs with the use of gilding, inlay and enamel testify about an unprecedented flourishing of artistic craftsmanship of ancient goldsmiths.

The exhibition features collection of coins of ancient Greece, Rome, Kievan Rus, Byzantium, and an unique collection of coins issued in honor of the XXII Olympic Games held in Soviet Union in 1980.
Working hours: Museum: 10:00 -17:45; admission until 16:45,
day-off - Monday, last Friday of the month - cleanup day
